Easter Morning!

We woke up to the biggest Easter egg hunt ever. The kids were excited Eli kept repeating they are everywhere.

Here Beau and Coby are trying to get them all gathered. Beau helped Eli get some of the high ones.

Devon didn't think his bucket was enough so he got a laundry basket to help out.

Here is all of the eggs they found.
They also had to find their baskets. This took sometime. Devon found his first then Eli and Devon found Beau's for him which was in the garage in dads truck. Devon also found Coby's basket which was in the BBQ Grill. This was found as we were all walking out the door to go to church. After Church they enjoyed the thing they received from the Easter bunny and Cad made dinner. This was delicious we had Wild turkey BBQ on the grill after being wrapped in bacon and seasoned with pickle seasoning this was the best. It was a good day.

Fishing!

We went fishing over to David the afternoon after Josh and Britney's wedding. The boys really wanted out of the house and it was a beautiful afternoon.
This is Cad and Beau using the net at the bottom of the water and trying to catch fish.
Eli was trying to hold the fish down. He would hit them with the stick to get them to quit moving.

Coby built himself a net with some stuff he found laying around.

we didn't get much but we were only there for about a half an hour. So that was a good fishing trip and it was fun to be out of the house for a little while.

Easter egg coloring 2011

Has one of our traditions for Easter we color eggs.

Eli and Coby are starting. They weren't waiting for Beau and Devon.

Beau and Eli working on their eggs.

Here Devon is painting the egg with the paint colors we received with the coloring kit.
this was interesting to watch them paint on the eggs. I think they really enjoyed this.

Devon is finished.

Easter 2011

Here in Rigby they do a little Easter egg hunt The Fire truck come and sounds the horn to start the hunt. Eli and Devon were the only ones old enough to go here is Eli after they were done with a half a bucket full of taffy. He skipped the eggs and went for the candy on the ground. Devon did the same thing except he had his bucket almost full.

Eli's first loose tooth!

Eli started complaining that his teeth hurt. When I looked at them I noticed that one of his front teeth was hanging lower then his other ones.

He said it was loose and I thought that was a little early. It seems early for our kids. Most of them didn't loose any baby teeth before second grade.

Well for a couple days he just wiggled it and then he started to complain that it hurt. It then started to swell and we discovered that it had become infected. We took him to the dentist they had to pull it out. When they numbed it he cried because the needle hurts when it is poked into that area. After that and he settled down they pulled it out. When the dentist told him he was done he jumped out of the chair and was out of there. He did let the dentist know he still friends with him with a big high five. He then told me on the way home he tried to be tough.

This is him without his tooth.
he looks really cute with out it there.

Eli weird rash!

On the weekend Eli had a fever we thought was just a fever nothing to worry about
but then Monday morning he broke out into a rash that we were unsure what it was.
He called them his poke a dots.

Here is a picture of him that night he had a little of the rash on his neck and his back, his stomach was the worse.

It turned out to just be Rosiola which is a rash that is from having the fever.
He is the first kid who had this so we were a little worried it would be worse then it was. Thank goodness it was a simple rash and was taken care of quickly.

April Snow showers

It was snowing really big flacks so we took some pictures of the snow. It only snowed enough to cover the ground.
last year at this time we ended up with the same amount of snow we had all winter long.
